Crisis

I initially began employment with Truman in 1990, proudly joining the nursing faculty in the BSN program where I had received my own BSN degree in 1984. In 1990, I received my MSN from the University of MO-Columbia and in 1996 completed a post-master’s certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I continued at Truman as a faculty member and part-time nurse practitioner for the Student Health Center prior to taking the position as the Director of the Student Health Center in 2002. Since 2010, I have served as the Director of the Student Health Center and University Counseling Services and in 2018 I became the Associate Vice President for Student Health and Wellness.  Additionally, I am certified as a Mental Health First Aid and QPR instructor and as a sexual assault forensic nurse.
