STEP presents on a variety of topics. Below please find a listing of several of our programs.
Diversity
- Exploring Diversity at Truman
This two-hour long interactive program will help participants explore the issue of diversity on campus. The program emphasizes the importance of appreciating many types of cultural differences.
- Video Presentations
Choose from two powerful videos, "The Shadow of Hate" or "A Place at the Table", followed by a discussion on hate and oppression in America.

- Sex Talk
Students often find it difficult to talk openly about sexual matters. This program allows participants to have fun while learning to communicate more effectively.

- Choices
A performance that raises awareness about a variety of campus issues through a series of rapidly moving skits. It is presented during Truman Week and similar performances are available for other special events.

Sexual Assault
- What Everyone Should Know
This program contains the essential information everyone should know about rape including what to do if you or someone you know is a victim of rape.
- Where Do You Stand?
Do you know your opinions on all of the controversial issues of date rape? This interactive program will assist participants in clarifying their beliefs while increasing awareness of this important topic.
- You Are The Witness
This program challenges many common myths about rape by providing factual information in an interesting manner.
