Individual and Relationship Counseling

University Counseling Services provides confidential short-term individual and relationship counseling to all currently enrolled Truman State University students at no additional cost. After the intake appointment, students will be assigned to a counselor and will continue meeting with the same counselor until finished with services. Typically students meet for 50 minutes at the same time on a weekly basis.

Relationship counseling is available as long as one of the individuals is a currently enrolled student. Services are available for any relationship concern including premarital counseling, romantic partner issues, roommate conflicts, and divorce counseling. After all parties have completed an intake appointment (either individually or together) a weekly appointment time will be scheduled and typically lasts for 80 minutes depending on schedule availability.
