Individual and Relationship Counseling

University Counseling Services provides confidential short-term individual and relationship counseling to all currently enrolled Truman State University students at no additional cost. After a screening appointment, students will be assigned to a counselor and will continue meeting with the same counselor until finished with services. Typically students meet for 50 minutes at the same time on a weekly basis.

Relationship counseling is available as long as one of the individuals is a currently enrolled student. Services are available for any relationship concern including premarital counseling, romantic partner issues, roommate conflicts, and divorce counseling. After all parties have completed a screening appointment(either individually or together) a weekly appointment time will be scheduled and typically lasts for 80 minutes depending on schedule availability.
